AI Watchtower

Hi, I’m Thomas. I’m a part time researcher at the Center for AI Safety while I finish my undergraduate degree at Yale. I write AI Watchtower in my personal capacity.

This blog is called AI Watchtower because I hope it can provide a look at what is coming in the future, and crucially warn of potential hazards on the horizon. I want AI Watchtower to be accessible to a non technical audience. I strongly believe that AI is going to matter to all of us, not just AI researchers, and that we need many different kinds of people thinking about how to make it safer. This blog aims to help reach more of those people.
